Both Fotolia och iStockPhoto has recently released plug-ins for Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 and 2010.
This means that everyone that want to use your photo in Word or Powerpoint only need to download the plug-ins and search for the images they wants to use.
Users can browse search results alongside their documents, along with custom galleries, downloaded image libraries, and a selection of free daily images.

The plugins can be found here: Fotolia Ribbon plug-in and iStockphoto Ribbon Plug-in.

Smart program for uploading to multiple microstock agencies

Friday, March 7th, 2008

Today I found a program called ProStockMaster that can be used for uploading your images to 10 different microstock agencies at the same time. The program also have some other smart features such as keyword generation which means that you can get help generating keywords for all your images. You can also search for keywords in images in your computer. So if you would like to find all images you have created which contain the keyword “woman”, for example, you could do that.

I haven’t tested the program yet but I will. It looks like it could save me a lot of time. The program comes in two versions. The free version is limited to 5 uploads daily but no other limitations. If you want to be able to upload more than 5 images a day you can buy the program for $49. That seems like a very good price if the program is as good as it sounds like.

I will try it during a few days and then report back what I thought about it. Have you any experience of ProStockMaster? Please, leave your comments in the blog!
